The Registered office of the Trust will be situated in “Maini Sadan”, No. 38, 7th Cross, Lavelle Road, Bangalore – 560 001 or at any other place as the Trustee may decide from time to time.

The ex-students of BHU, as a mark of respect for the great visionary and gratitude for his contributions, plan to offer the bouquet of flowers in the form of “Complete Works of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya”, to coincide with his 150th birth anniversary. It is hoped that the sweet fragrance of Malaviyaji’s personality is spread all over with the help of this bouquet and his works are assessed more meaningfully, effectively and objectively, resulting in the overall upliftment of the Indian society.

Purpose :

The major purposes of the Trust are:

  1. To project the multifaceted personality of Malaviya ji, his contributions to the people, to the society, to the political arena and to the Nation as a whole
  2. To highlight his thoughts, sayings and writings which are so relevant to the current Indian scenario.
  3. To project his services to the Nation as a visionary builder of Modern India who gave to the Nation – ‘Benares Hindu University’ the University, which groomed the aspiring young men in all fields. These young men captained the educational, cultural, religious, economic, industrial and other fields of life and in turn, were responsible for the ‘Progress’ of the country.
  4. To spread the message that Malaviya ji’s vision is sustained and continues to be an example to be emulated for the service of the nation in future.
  5. To encourage further research in his fields of activity, through setting up of Malaviya Chairs in Universities, organising seminars, conferences and such other activities.

Object of the Trust :

The object of the Trust shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  1. To compile and publish the entire works of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya both in Hindi & English;
  2. To carry out necessary translations of the works of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya into Hindi and English language wherever necessary;
  3. To publish well researched monographs highlighting Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya ji’s contribution in various fields of life such as Education, Journalism, Political Thought, Philosophy & Religion, Economic Reforms, Social and Industrial development etc.
  4. To publish books on the life of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya suitable for various sections of Society.
  5. To continue Malaviyaji’s work through various means primarily to educate the countrymen and their upliftment;
  6. To carry out all such other acts as may be necessary for accomplishing the above mentioned objectives so that the general public of India become aware of the contributions of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya;
  7. To collaborate with BHU and the Alumni Cell, Benares Hindu University in particular and all other organizations and personnel who can help in achieving the above mentioned objectives.
